ABOUT THE REPORT

As experienced observers of the Chinese market, ChoZan has been closely following the latest updates of the pandemic situation. To investigate the confidence and thoughts of Chinese consumers, the ChoZan team conducted a survey in early April with participants from different regions in the country. In this survey, 1,214 participants from Tier 1-2 and Tier 3-5 cities were invited to share their views and thoughts on the topic.

Participants of the survey were asked to respond to questions including their levels of optimism, public health awareness and reflections on their lifestyle choices after the pandemic. A significant portion of the survey was also focusing specifically on the consumption preferences, sentiments of consumers by city tiers (Tier 1-2 VS Tier 3-5 cities).
