Siasun Robotics sits at a useful point in China’s automation story. The company, known in Chinese as 新松, gives executives a view into how Chinese robotics companies are shifting from equipment supply to factory-level problem-solving.  Its current portfolio spans industrial robots , mobile robots, collaborative robots, semiconductor equipment, intelligent logistics, and full system integration. That

Industrial automation in China has become central to the country’s next manufacturing upgrade. Robotics, controls, smart factory software, and AI-assisted production now support China’s push for higher productivity, stronger quality control, and more resilient supply chains. In March 2026, the National People’s Congress reviewed the outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan for 2026 to 2030.

China reached a new milestone in early 2025. The country now operates more than 500 industrial robots per 10,000 manufacturing workers. That number puts China ahead of Germany and Japan for the first time.  This shift changes how robotics in manufacturing works on a global scale. Factory owners no longer ask if they need automation.

China has moved from being a low‑cost manufacturing hub to one of the world’s most automated economies. Over the past decade, its domestic robotics industry has matured dramatically. The robot exports grew by 28 percent year‑over‑year in 2025, reflecting the government’s push for advanced manufacturing.  In 2026, the country remains the world’s largest industrial robot

China’s manufacturing base has become the gravitational center of global automation. In 2025, Chinese companies shipped roughly 80 % of the world’s humanoid robots and accounted for over 70 % of industrial robot installations. That momentum continued into 2026 as national policy and market forces converged.  The robotic welding sector stands at the heart of this trend

While humanoid robots dominate headlines, China’s real robotics story is unfolding on factory floors. Industrial robots are welding, palletizing, loading, and moving materials, reshaping how manufacturers think about cost, speed, and scale. Chinese robotics companies are no longer just lower-cost alternatives to foreign brands. They are building stronger component supply chains, faster customization models, and

SERES Cars has become one of China’s most important case studies in smart EVs. Backed by SERES Group manufacturing and Huawei’s intelligent vehicle ecosystem, AITO turned SERES from a Chongqing automaker into a premium mobility player.  In 2025, SERES sold 472,269 new energy vehicles, with AITO delivering more than 420,000 units. The real story now

Chery Automobile has completely redesigned its approach to electric mobility. The company moved beyond simple compliance EVs. It now leads with aggressive technology deployment across multiple brands and markets. Recent sales data from the first quarter of 2025 shows Chery Automobile doubling its new energy vehicle deliveries compared to the same period last year. This
