The hospital’s clinical experts have rated the system highly for operational precision, system stability, clinical maturity, and the unique force feedback component that creates a differentiated competitive advantage.

China is building more similar network effects at a greater geographic scale. 

  • In March 2026, the international remote robotic center at West China Hospital completed seven remote operations in one day across domestic and international locations. 
  • Gemelli Hospital in Italy has completed over 50 cases with the system. 
  • AZ Delta in Belgium completed 100 cases within 10 weeks and performed Europe’s first remote surgery using the Toumai Surgical Robot. 
  • In Africa, four installations in Morocco have supported over 500 surgeries. 
  • The system has also been deployed at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in India, Rajavithi Hospital in Thailand, and Hospital Nove de Julho in Brazil, where the region’s first commercial remote human surgery was completed.
